A full-day event on the 28th of October 2025 at Thales Research and Technology (1 Av. Augustin Fresnel, 91120 Palaiseau, France) for the European project MULTHEM. The goal is to promote the project’s results in continuous carbon fiber composites (FDM), aluminium alloy 3D printing (DED-wire), composite/metal joining (Friction Stir Welding and Electron Beam Welding) along with their evaluation on a few industrial use cases (casings for electric motors, electronic appliances and batteries).
We aim to bring together leading experts from academia and industry to discuss recent developments in multi-material AM, joining of AM parts, and lightweighting strategies.
